    doesn anyone know the difference between switching and constant power supplies.

    well i know ether kinda has been around for a long time but i just wasn't exactly sure, thanks for the link though.
    About that article i'm not sure if all of it is entirly true or correct because most power supplies are switching.

    I'm pretty sure that for your standard computer power supply, linear style units are nothing but a thought. I don't know if they've ever been linear, but everything I've run across since 1998 has been switching.

    i just saw a constant power supply the other day on i forget where ether new egg or tiger direct, but i'm going to look for it again.
