Im a bit confused. Why is the ACPI temp so low?

This means that there is either no temperature sensor at that location, or the program can't read the temps of that sensor correctly.

Agreed. Something isn't being read correctly or there's a fluke in the version you're using.
You might try another program just to see what comes up, but in general, don't take the hardware monitoring as gold, since the results vary from program to program.
