My Computer

Default Thermalright XP120 advice

Hi all

Anyone has this beast? If you do, can you tell me whether it will fit the motherboard's default socket 478 bracket or will I have to replace the default bracket with the one which comes with the cooler?

I do not particularly want to remove the original bracket from the motherboard....

Thanks for looking! y'all have a good day now,

For intel boards they just snap right in. It's a small pain, but no added brackets or anything. It is a monster isn't it.

My Computer

I let it go.... it went above my budget and I also noticed it would mean having to temporarily remove my chipset cooler. Too much bother..... oh, well... better luck next time.
