i think it will work but if you force your computer too much in terms of GPU power it might not be effective. let me put this in prespective for you. a gpu is probably the most energy consuming part in the pc build. but its not always using those 500w, at idle i would say its using probably 100w / 70w depends im not sure tho. my point is dont force the components to go FULL on 100% usage. but you will be ok mate.
