7950 gx2 discontinued?

    yeah, so i've been looking around and they aren't anywhere, on that, i haven't found anywhere that says they are discontinued ether, so i was wondering if someone could clarify.

    I haven't heard of them discontinuing the 7950GX2 yet.

    yeah, they aren't selling through any large sellers, only one that i can find are just on backweb internet sites and no name places that are selling for a lot more than they should be selling for. I haven't seen any more come in stock on newegg or tiger, so i was just putting two and two together.

    It wouldn't surprise me, but I've not caught wind of anything official. You might browse DailyTech and see if you can find anything on it. It wouldn't surprise me given that the GeForce 8800's are now their top dog.

    yeah i can't figure it out, some retailers, online or not, have it listen as discontinued, other are still stocking them. No idea whats going on

    Was the 7950GX2 ever fully supported anyway?

    Yes. It's an officially sanctioned nVidia product, unlike past proprietary dual GPU cards.
