I want to run multiple (3-4?) monitors off my computer to run Microsoft FSX in a more dramatic way.

With my current card (Nvidia GEFORCE 8500gt), I can run a second monitor via DMI in addition to my VGA connection. Using the NVidia control panel, I can play with how each monitor works in conjunction with each other.

But what do I do to add a third or fourth monitor?

well, I would say that only current generation video cards support another monitor, if we're talking mainstream here.

    the radeon HD5xxx cards have 2xDVI-I + 1xHDMI, thus supporting 3 monitors.

I'd like to hear any other solution to this than buying a new card :D

without the extra connection's you cant without another newer card (or another card, but without SLI i don't know about using them for the same game).
you can get usb to vga, but will be horrible for games.
