Yes, so i don't know what happened, but more or less, i kinda grew up over night??? i don't know. On that, my life currently doesn't allow my new view on things to go so smoothly, but oh well. My current dilema is this http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n29/Swansen/IMG_1753-1.jpg Its eating up all my time and resources, working on it and all that is a very good way to unwind, but its really hard to find the time, and its not like, ok, well, thats fixed, won't have to spend money on it anymore. I constantly have to fix something, literally, its half new as i have replaced almost everything..... i think i'm just going to get a horse and buggy.. lol. So, ok, why all the fuss, why not just get rid of it?? cause i have put countless hours into it, and its still a very good/reliable vehicle, of the five i have owned, its the only one that hasn't left me anywhere. I still have a little bit to do to it before i can sell if for anything worth while, so, probably another couple weeks of late nights, so i have some time to mull over everything, but i dunno. I guess i could just store it and get something cheap to get me from A to B, but i dunno, i'm in College. I dunno, this has just been eating me up, and i have ZERO objective view points, as everyone i know is like NNNNOOOO YOU CAN'T SELL IT, WHATS WRONG WITH YOU..... and i needed to vent.

(yes, could have gone in automotive, but this is more so related to lifes needs, and the truck just happens to be really tied up in it...stupid, i know..)(also, this is just about the longest i've owned a vehicle, at the least, the only one i've ever really cared anything about enough to even think about it)

no, don't get rid of it, although, it sounds like your decision has already being made, because, you are struggling to find the time to give the TLC that is required, however, weigh up the pro's & con's & think hard because it sounds like this vehicle "baby" means a :swear:ing lot to you

yeah, i am so confused, truly though, i can't keep dumping money into it and having ALL of my free time devoted to it. The issue lies here, i probably need somewhere in the annals of 1k to put into it before i'd be happy. Thats a lot of money, the other issue is i REALLY need to focus on school, and it makes it a little hard when i am constantly attending to it. Also, i am worried i am going to keep it and it will get to the point where it will be beyond repair and i won't be able to sell it for much, OR, something expensive breaks at which point i loose my transportation.. Right now its pretty much coming down to how much i can get done in these next couple weeks and how i feel about it after that. Granted, all that aside, it would be really nice to have something that is more economical, in every way. Anyways, thanks for your input Donkey, this whole thing is kinda tearing me up, which is crazy, because its just a vehicle. I love it when everything is fine, and hate it when something needs to be done... its a constant battle.

Decided, as soon as it get it running right, i'm getting rid of it, no lies. See, the truck is AWESOME when its running right, but when something fails, its an extreme battle to diagnose. Its always one of SEVERAL possible things and the only real way to determine what the problem is, is to just start replacing things. It was fun at first, and i learned a lot, but i can't keep it up, i just can't.... Anyways, donkey, thanks for you input.
On things, all of my driving life, i've been really particular about what i drive, but i don't even think i care at this point??

:( yes, it's sad to get rid of the first car you loved (even though it's a truck) but you have to be logical, personally i had that choice taken away from me, & the car (it was stolen) it was a great little car (Vauxhall Nova 1.3SR)[ot]from years ago when i cared what people thought[/ot] & i still miss it now, anyway, enough crap
sounds familiar, i had an old escort van, but, i only had that van for about 6 months then it went to the big scrap yard in the sky
    np, hope i helped
that's the best way to be, now i've supposedly grown up[ot]never happen[/ot]spending a lot of money to buy a flash car is a big waste of money to make other people think you look good, personally i think "what a pr1ck" because, you are still you & i don't give a sh1t what other people think, especially with all the sh1t i've being through

Yeah, it airs randomly, the best way for people in the US to watch BBC shows is through the internet.

I'm a big Top Gear fan... I'm off to see MPH live (car show with top gear presenters) in November, and I went last year as well, there are some fantastic cars there.
