I just had a problem (malware). It's cleaned up now. Nothing showing up with any anti-malware program. But, I have no sound and I've got to have my '60's music. I've attached a shot of my device mangers "sound" stuff. I'm running XP SP3 and have a XFX ONE graphics card but onboard sound. That's all I can think to tell right now. Thanks, Gary

Well with all those in yellow is not a good sign, I would try to reinstall your sound drivers..

My computer >right click properties >hardware>device manager
Confirm that you have no unknown hardware then may need the driver for the sound card.

    hope this work

Have you checked already if it's muted? If it's not muted make sure you're not using external speakers or headphones. Make sure that plus is in the correct port.
