i get that with my damaged USB stick, i think its not recognised because there is a problem with the Bluetooth stick.
Unfortunatly, its hard to find what drivers are needed withought knowing make, m/n or a s/n of the device, i had the same problem with my mp3 player. He said he is on XP, so i would of thought the Device would of been plug and play.., but then i remember, my bluetooth dongle came with a driver cd, but did never say anything like The device is not recognised.
if you check with [link=http://support.microsoft.com/kb/841803]Microsoft[/link], you will find a big list of bluetooth radio drivers, which are included in XP SP2... I also dont think that if u need a driver to run that device...... Do you hear a sound of dong ding when u hook that USB bluetooth with ur computer? nd get that message, that your hardware is not installed properly..?? coz if thats the case then u will definately need drivers for it....
o dear lord help me !! .. when i was looking for a usbII driver, i found it .. damn it!! .. what it is about, since my friend have lost the bluetooth adapter cd he gave it to me since I'm a computer engineer - to be :d (that's true),and he thought good of me, but now, I'm letting him down :s
ok, what did you find, the driver? so its working now right?. You think your letting him down by loosing the cd? just tell him, everyone looses stuff from time to time, even computer enginerrs.
no mate .. i found nothing .. i'll just keep asking others 'till the answer is found .. and MUST BE!! sorry if i bothered u fella .. thanx alot nighty night ..
Without knowing exactly which adaptor it is, it's going to be impossible to point to the correct driver.
