Hi, This one isn't so much of a problem than something a bit weird. My motherboard died recently, and I replaced some hardware (my new mobo is a gigabyte Z68AP-D3). Now, when my pc is on standby, i.e. powered on PSU (+mobo) but before boot, I have the ability to click my mouse, which turns on its lights (it's a [wired] razor copperhead). This was a little bit disconcerting at the time; I came back from a long holiday to find my mouse on but pc off! But in effect, this of course causes no problems. Can anyone explain this phenomenon? Cheers!
No, I haven't had a thorough look in bios. Sorry, I said standby when I probably meant something else. All I mean is when the computer is off but ready to be turned on by pressing the power button. So is standby really a sort of "pre-boot" sleep mode?
