    Hey all,

Ever since this morning every program thats running will go into a 'not responding' mode for 5-10 seconds. This happens with steam, skype, any game, even my windows start menu, quick menu, documents page, etc, etc.

Another odd thing is that i cannot connect to any website even though i do have internet; my laptop, phone, parents laptop all use the wifi fine. Also booting takes a bit longer.

So is this my hard drive going out? Its not defraged. Is this my cpu going out? Or is my windows corrupt?

    thanks!

I have Bitdefender. But It doesn't matter because the program just freezes like everything else. I can't install CCleaner or run cleanup because 1) I can't get on the internet, and 2) It will just freeze. I'm starting to think that re-formating is the only option.

Does it freeze up when you are in the Bio's ? Have you tried safe Mode to see what happens ? What Kind of computer is this ? Desktop or Laptop ?
Sounds like it is getting hot?
