delete partition?

    i got 3 partitions on my HD
    winxp
    win98
    and linux
    can i just delete win98 and linux. and windows just takes that disk space like. Hey, windows has found extra disk space and eosnt have to format your whole HD!

    Yes you can delete the partitions and create other partitions with the unpartitioned space on your hdd. I don't think you can make your existing win xp partition bigger though unless you have partition magic I believe ?

    I'm not sure since I've never used it. Actually I don't trust it but many people use it and have no problems.

    As long as 98 isn't on the C: drive/partition, you'll be fine. You can probably delete or just reformat it under XP instead of deleting it. And yes, without 3rd party software, you can't merge the extra space with XP.
