    Hi there.

A friend sent me a photograph claiming that they took it today (27.01.2013), but the creation date of the document is 16.01.2013.

I know past documents can have a current date due to copying etc, but for reasons that I don't want to discuss, I'd like to know if there's anyway possible at all that this could be a mistake by windows, and that the document could somehow have had a past creation date by mistake?

Or, is it completely un-heard of and impossible for the 'creation date' of a document to be from the past? Without trying to change it, that is.

    Thank you.

Photographs tend to create meta data which contains the date it was taken ,camera it was taken with etc, mind you the data also be changed.

Just upload your picture here http://regex.info/exif.cgi
