I haven't made any hardward modifications and my machine was off for three weeks straight while I was out of town.

Now, upon booting up, I'm getting this error. I checked the cables and everything seems to be fine, so I'm assuming the drive has failed.

The problem is, for some reason, hitting F1 for setup does nothing. Nor does hitting ESC to resume. I know the keyboard is functioning and connected because I can hit CTRL + ALT + DELETE to restart at this point.

It's an old Gateway, and it's running XP. I don't even need the A drive anymore. Any suggestions for how I can get past this screen and into SETUP?

    Thanks!
