Hello guys. My dad has an old athlon xp1800+ pc for browsing internet. So the problem is that pc stopped booting. It was with ati x1650 agp gpu. When i replaced it with radeon 9550 pc start booting.
But i did little experiment. When x1600 is in the slot - no beep no boot only fans spining. When i pull it out 3 beeps. So i did that - started pc without videocard (3 beeps), than after last beep i pluged the card in the slot, restart and voala pc boots, windows starts, no problem with games. Even if i restart pc again there is no problem, but if i shut it down i must repeat the whole procedure again.. Any advice?
    Thanks :)
Excuse me, my english isn't very good.

I assume battery is fine becouse pc POSTs with older videocards, and all information saved to CMOS is there even if i unplug power cable.
