External HDD-Which one is better 3.5 inch vs 2.5 inch for USB 3.0 version

    Hi guys,
    I am looking for an external HDD. I have searched a lot about external HDDs, and i still have a confusion that which one is better for me 3.5 inch or 2.5 inch.....

    My Requirement:- High speed cause i want to record 1080p videos of games directly. Size do not matter for me. (In addition i am looking for 1tb USB 3.0)

    When i was searching i have found that 3.5 inch is better in speed cause they have big space area.....Which helps them to rotate at higher RPMs than 2.5 inch. In addition they have an external power supply....

    The 3.5 would be better, At least that is what I use and have found to be better..
