Hi guys, first post on here. I am wondering if it makes sense for me to upgrade my FX-6100 to a fx-8350 or if I would be better off saving up and moving to Intel, or waiting for Zen ? My current specs are as follows:

amd fx-6100 stock speeds with Hyper 212 Evo heatsink.
    Asus M5A78L-MUSB3 motherboard.
    16gig 1866MHz RAM
    nVidia GTX 960 4GB
    500 gig Samsung Evo SSD

Edit: Thought Id better mention what I am using it for. I am mainly using it for gaming. The division being the big one ATM. I also want to get back into strategy gaming with Total War: Warhammer

I'd wait for Zen if your budget is big enough. Also GPU is not very strong for FPS games so I suggest changing it also when getting new CPU.

You should stick with it if you are saving for Ryzen and then get a new mobo and gpu.
If you can't save that much it would be wiser to move to FX 8350 because both support same socket type
