    Hello there,
I'm a new member to this site and I'm not going to lie - I signed up only because I'm having a computer problem that I'd like to solve...well, not really much of a problem, more of a hesitation between some components. So, I'm buying myself a new computer pretty soon (in 2 months maybe) because I don't have the money yet. My current one is 10 years old running on a Athlon 64 2800 processor, 512 RAM and some old nVidia FX 5500 card. Anyways, my budget (if the XE universal currency converter is correct) is from 850 up to 950$. The computer is going to be used for everything, of course, but I am intending to enjoy some semi-hardcore gaming. Or if the money allow it - pure hardcore gaming. Monitor is not going to be included in this pricing, my current one is Samsung 19'' with max resolution 1280x1048 I think. I'm going to get a new one but later on. (More money on the computer) So... I've read a lot of things about hardware and components and I've configured a few systems at sky.bg (a Bulgarian site where I intend to order my parts from)
MY MAIN question is if those parts are COMPATIBLE and if any of those parts are bad(or could be better) I'd like some comments and suggestions, please. That's all really. So, the first configuration is AMD based and goes like that:

Motherboard: Not sure about that since I'm mainly informed about Intel motherboards but this one: ASUS M5A99X EVO, AMD 990X, DDR III 2133(O.C.)/1866/1600/1333/1066, SATA II,SATA III, 1394, eSATA, USB 3.0, GLAN, AM3+ seemed pretty good to me. - 127.00$
    CPU: AMD FX-Series X6 6200, 3.80GHz, 14MB, BOX, AM3+, Black Edition @ 153.00$ I think this one is the best one(from AMD ofc) for its' performance quality/price.
CPU cooler: Again, not sure about this component, I just saw which one has the best brand, numbers and price :D - COOLER MASTER Hyper TX3 Evo, s.All CPU, 800-2200 rpm, 17-30 dB - 21.19$
    RAM: CORSAIR 2x4GB Vengeance DDR3 1600Mhz, CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 (I think 8 gigs is enough, right? I don't understand what this: CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 - means tho.)
    HDD: SEAGATE 1000GB 7200 64MB SATA III - 83.60$ OR WD 1024GB 64MB SATA III Blue - 82.50$ - almost a dollar difference (wow, that's a lot ! :D) but which one is better..?
    Graphics card: SAPPHIRE 2048M HD7850 DDR5 PCI-E 3.0 /BULK/ (I've heard great things about this card) - 234.00$
Power supply - COOLER MASTER SILENT PRO M600, 600W - 89.30$ (Is this a good PSU and are 600 watts enough for the system ?)
Finally, CASE (Yes, I know I haven't mentioned the floppy, I'm going to use my old one for a couple of weeks and maybe I'll get a new one, they're cheap, right?) - COOLER MASTER ELITE 334U BLACK, w/o PSU - 42.90$

The OTHER configuration is INTEL based and the only difference is the MB, CPU(Obvious ones) and the graphics card (weaker one because of the high pricing of the CPU)
Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z77-DS3H, Z77, DDR III 2400(OC)/1600/1333/1066, VGA, DVI, HDMI, SATA III, RAID, mSATA, USB 3.0, GLAN, LGA1155 - 97.70$
    CPU: INTEL CORE i5-2500K, 3.30GHz, 6M, BOX, LGA1155 - 220.00$
    Graphics card: SAPPHIRE 1024M HD6870 DDR 5 PCI-E /BULK/ - 185.70$
    REST IS THE SAME
So, what do you think ? Which of these configurations is going to be better/more efficent(as in performance) for gaming ?
That's about it...hopefully someone'll read this big thread :D I know it's probably annoying but anyways, have a nice day for now and thanks in advance !
