    Hello,

This is my first time posting on here, so please forgive me if this is posted in the wrong place.
I am wanting to put these parts together, but I am not sure if they are compatible. Could you help me with finding out if these parts are compatible?

    Motherboard: ASUS P5QL PRO
Power Supply: Golden field powerBAY ATX-S628 (I have attached the specs)
    GPU: BFG Tech GeForce GTS 250 1GB DDR3 (http://www.legitreviews.com/article/913/1/)

I’m a little new at the whole computer parts thing, so excuse my ignorance [IMG]

    Thank you very much!

    Hi,

The system board has a pciE 2.0 slot so the video card should have no trouble with that. I read here http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100224145841AAt8iH8 that a user of the card said you need at least 24 amps on the 12 volt rail, either on a single rail or on 2 rails combined. From what I saw of the picture you provided from a different site, this power supply has 2 12 volt rails, one providing 16 Amps and the other providing 17 amps so I do not see why this psu could not work for what you need. Just be sure that this power supply has a 6 pin connector that it can plug into the video card with or else the card will not work.
