I found site which tells me the cheats for Call of Duty and you have to make a copy of the .exe file and go into properties. After this you type in +set thereisacow 1337 +set developer 1 +set sv_cheats 1 +set monkeytoy 0 on to the end of the existing link in the target box. When I have done this I click ok and a message comes up saying "the name...is not valid...make sure the path and file name are correct" Can anybody help me? Thanks.
I know this isn't going to be very helpful but the best solution would be not to cheat! Much more fun without them :good:
you have to input the values inside the quote marks I think! if you get what I mean. e.g. "Game.exe +set thereisacow 1337 +set developer 1 +set sv_cheats 1 +set monkeytoy 0"
I have tried but to no avail. Yes I know I shouldn't cheat, but sometimes you just can't be arsed you know?
If I recall my console cheating days (half life) then it works best when you use the shortcut and in the target line you put: "game.exe" +set thereisacow 1337 +set developer 1 +set sv_cheats 1 +set monkeytoy 0 So the target line in the Shortcut properties looks just like that, then double-click the shortcut and it should work.
I only use cheats to re-do a game I've played to death or funny little things like making enemies small/big or to give a challenge to the game.
