    I ain't bein' a crybaby 'bout it:eek: and I know I'll get sweet performance w/ the 2500+ anyways. I was j/w if the 2600+ didn't come w/ multipliers locked(you don't have to answer that:rolleyes: )...

all thorougbred B and Barton processors come with the multiplier unlocked.

as I said, if you find the 1700+ I talked about (it has to be that exact one), it likely overclocks better than the 2500+.

    right now, there's a 1800+ DLT3C for $65 at www.excaliberpc.com

They guarantee the stepping, I'd really look at it if I were you.

Why would I want that when I can OC the 2500+ to better speeds? I see what you mean though because the new Athlob 64s will be dominating soon and to not spend a ton on a processor?

No. What I said is that you can achieve the same speed or more with the one I mentionned (1700+), and it's cheaper.

Yeah, but I'll just get the 2500+ anyways because I'm a wussy and have $364 to get a PSU, MoBo, CPU, and RAM-$90 550Watt Antec TRue PSU, $94 Soltek SL-75FRN2-RL, $90 AMD 2500+ Barton, and $90 Kingston 2x256MB Value RAM PC3200:)
