A friend of mine works in a company which uses Macs only. Now, he has a 10.4 os and wants to upgrade to 10.5; the administration of the company has a .dmg put available for all who need to upgrade. apparently one can restore the dmg to a usb stick. thus far, all is great (took the dmg, restored it via Disk Utility on the freshly mac os x file system formatted 8GB usb stick), but problem is, that the mac would not recognize the usb stick on booting as a bootable media. whats the problem? thanks!
