Linux and Hot Swap

    I'm getting a new motherboard for my linux machine as the previous one died.
    Just wondering if i can swap out the boards without having to re-install.
    The boards use different chipsets.

    I wouldn't think you would have any problems, the boot scripts should load the appropriate kernel modules for your motherboard.
