Well as this is the only music related place so i'll post it here, i thought i'd post some pictures of my overhauled bass (taken apart, sanded back, primed, masked off, sprayed and blended (tricky), signed, laquered), i did it a while ago now, it was black and boring, now its all metalic blue-fade-to-green (i love my paintjob...looks so good, excuse the big headedness) with a white patch on the back where the band i'm in signed it (and drew a few weird pictures....) if your wondering what the big lines where the signatures are they say YAZ in big letters, its our drummer's name and he signed it first, really big... http://img258.imageshack.us/my.php?image=bass19rj.jpg http://img258.imageshack.us/my.php?image=bass24ko.jpg http://img318.imageshack.us/my.php?image=bass34bw.jpg http://img318.imageshack.us/my.php?image=bass43of.jpg The paint on the back has some speckles in it, thats where my brother decided to open the garage door while i was mid-spray and dust blew everywhere, i was lucky it wasnt worse, but its on the back and isnt that noticable. there are a few dings on it, one small little dent on the front and 2 on the back which chipped the paint off, that happened when our band practice turned into a house party and someone though it a good idea to get me newly painted bass out and attempt to look cool....didnt work, they damaged it by knocking it about... :swear: and yes, i know its a crappy Squier, but it plays nice, new Ernie Ball super Slinky strings, an adjusted truss rod and neck tension, adjusted brigde make this thing awesome to play
