Is it set to boot from CD? If not then it won't be able to boot from the CD. To get your mobo to attempt to boot from the CD you'll have to look in the BIOS settings. Windows Probably can't boot because it's practically in a different computer, and doesn't have any of the drivers.

i can get into the boot menu and select it to boot from my cd-rom drive but it wont, f8 does not seem to do anything cant get to safe mode i can get into the bios setup can i get to safe mode there thanks GB
