I'm planning to buy a new but i dont know which one to choose:

    MSI MS-StarForce 8836 GeForce2 Ti 64MB DDRAM AGP TV-Out
    http://www.msi.com.tw/products/multimedia/vga/vga.htm

LeadTek Winfast GeForce2 Ti 64MB DDRAM AGP TV-Out
    http://www.leadtek.com/graphics/gf2ti/ti.htm

    Aopen GF2TI-VO64 GeForce2 Ti 64MB DDR TV-Out
    http://www.aopen.nl/products/vga/gf2ti-vo64.htm

    or choose

ATI Radeon 7500 64MB DDRAM AGP TV-OUT, DVI retail
    http://www.ati.com/na/pages/products/pc/radeon_7500/index.html

They are all around the same price.
If anyone has anything good or bad to say about these cards 'm happy to hear
    them out

I have pretty much the same thing as the MSI card there, but it's got the VIVO module. It's a very nice card. The ATI may be the fastest of all these, and ATI has been doing a much, much better job with their drivers as of late. AOpen makes good stuff too.

If you're looking to overclock, I think the Leadtek would probably be your best bet. I can't say anything about their products as I've never had one.

If you get the MSI, get the VIVO if possible.

If you want dual-display capabilities, ATI would be the better choice, although I have found the software for it to be a little tedious to work with.

I'd go for the ATI Radeon 7500 64MB DDRAM AGP TV-OUT, I've read some good review about it.

I think you if you wait a little or go a auction site such as ebay.com/.co.uk you could pick up a Geforce 3 quite cheap...

    My 2 bits

Hey, I am also pondering a similar upgrade in the forseeably near future.

Through a few friends who have radeons, one a 7500 and one a 8500, I have come to really favor Ati....The 8500 is freakin awesome in my opinion, and it will go down in price. It's certainly a big bang for your buck.

That' s my 2 cents worth.

Keep in mind that price versus performance, and for the extra money, that 8500 is a lot of performance, AND overclockable to dramatic extremes.

I'd have to say it depends on your systems setup. If you have an LCD monitor that has DVI connections I'd probably go with the Radeon.

If your looking for a GF2 Ti card I'd reccomend one that isn't on your list, the Asus v7700 Ti. I've used Asus cards from the 6600 series up to the 8200 series and they perform great and usually end up fairly high in the list of performing cards. Also if you go the Deluxe route you pick up a pair of 3D glasses and video in/out.
