SLI power

    im building my next computer using an sli board, and i was wondering if an sli board needs a certain type of psu for power requirements, i heard something about a 24 pin power connector needed. does any type of psu work? thx

    PowerSupplies can come in different forms:
    24Pin & 4Pin
    20Pin & 10Pin
    20Pin

    Basically, 20Pin & 10Pin is used in servers, dual CPU machines mostly such as Blade servers, 20Pin was the power connection used on older motherboards upto AMD Athlon T-Birds, 24Pin & 4Pin are literally what ALL powersupplies use now for standard desktops / towers / file servers e.t.c (it's the most common).

    Yes the powersupply you listed would be fine - good choice as well.
