I have a Sony Vaio PCV-RS346 ( I think - although it could be a PCV-2236 - Read on ) I brought it refurbished (off Tampc on ebay - it was advertised as a PCV-RS346 but on the rear the PC says PCV-2236), it has XP home pre loaded but no discs came with it so although the unit has a Gigapcoket TV tuner I dont have the software to load on my PC to use it. Basically as it is refurbished all of the previous system details were wiped off and now its back to the bare bones with XP as the OS. TAMPC will not forward any other discs ! Does anyone know where I can get the Gigapocket software from or does anyone have a copy that they would be prepared to send me (or email) - I could do a favour in return (dont know what though). If any one has a sony Vaio restore disk the utilities I need may be on there ? I have traulled the interet to no avail - even the sony europe website could not help - for a start it did not list my model number(s) Please contact me if you are able to help on [email protected] PLEASE PLEASE HELP - Many thanks in advance. I wasn't able to find that model of Sony anywhere in my search either through my supplier or through the Sony Reseller support sites. If this is in the UK I don't know the support number but in North America, software supports # is 888-476-6972. Usually if your able to give them a bit of information like the serial # they're willing to send you replacement software for a small charge, unfortunatley I can't guarantee it though.
