Where did my thread go???

I created a thread in general chat the other day with the title "Thought for the day [add your own]" but when i came back the next day it was gone, a private message that i had allready read was labled as new and 2 threads in my subscibed threads list were in bold but i had allready read all the posts in them...

whats going on!
