x1900 crossfire issue

    hi all need some advice I have the asus dh deluxe crossfire mainboard and have just installed my second x1900 xt 256mb I already had the crossfire edition xt 512mb ....i have enabled crossfire in the catalyst control centre which was fine showing under display drivers
    radeon x1900 crossfire edition and radeon x1900 crossfire edition secondary then
    radeon x1900 series and radeon x1900 secondary ...all of which is correct.....


    Now the second card is being displayed as x1950 series ??????/

    any ides...they are both def x1900

    Well ATI is known for having screwy driver, lol, so that could be it. But honestly try re-installing the video drivers. But before that, if there is not any performance loss, i wouldn't even worry about it

    I aggree with ATI sometimes having screwy drivers, I would take a look at Omega Drivers. They greatly helped the performance on my x1600xt card.
