X800GTO 256mb vs. X850XT 256mb

    For $100cad/$90usd/£47, would you do it ?

    is the X850XT PE 100$ : O ?, whatever it is, the X850XT is the one to get!!

    It's not a PE. I decided to keep my card anyway.

    The X850XT is quite a bit better, it'll still churn though modern games very well in almost all cases. It's probably around 10-20% better than a GTO. But not really enough to warrent an upgrade.

    i think it would be more than 10-20% better than the GTO, the GTO2 cards are ok i belive, they can be unlocked to 16pipelines and practically overclock so there just as good as an X850XT PE, but i woujld get the X850XT, better cooler....

    Sure the X850's a good bit better but I still think he's better off saving his $100 and putting it toward DX 10 card or something. I guess he's still content with his GTO anyway.

    Yeah it's at 450/500 right now (stock = 400/490) and I can enable AA/AF at 10x7 in newer games, which is what I was expecting when I first got it.
