Default Time and Date

Hi Guys, Not sure where this queery should go.
I have to reset my computer date and time each time I turn the computer on, otherwise I have to confirm each site that I look at by accepting a certificate, if you know what I mean.
I have the time synchronised but still no joy..Any suggestions please.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards roobarb:

Dead CMOS battery (on the motherboard) results in the computer losing the time/date settings, however you can try leaving your computer on for 24hours to see if it helps.

If it doesnt, you will have to get the battery replaced.

Great thanks, I left the computer on for a good 24 hours and when turned off and on again, the clock had stayed on the correct time/date.
I've only had the computer a couple of weeks, and there are quite a few things that are missing or needing updating..To date I have already started to get it sorted with the help of the Hardware Forum..Cheers Guys..

I think you need a CR2032, but I'd take the existing one out to make sure. You can get them at places like homebase and B&Q, and I sell them in the photography shop that I work in.
