Using a DNS
I have successfully installed Apache server on a PC that I'm going to use as a server. I have the ports set to 8888, and it seems to work fine with both my LAN ip and a WAN ip.
I also bought a godaddy domain but I think that I need a DNS server, but I'm not sure what exactly that is, or how I can get one. If it's possible (unless not recommended)I'd like to run the DNS server on the computer that is running Apache. Thanks in advance. |
