Is Video Chat The Same As Video Streaming?
I'm Asking This Because I Don't Want To Use Up Too Much Bandwidth Chating On My Webcam Whereas I Could Be Watching Videos On Youtube.

Video streaming means playing video along a network or the internet. That is used when you play video on a media center, that is stored on a PC. Or when you play movies on youtube. With video chat you send your video to other people. This is in fact also Video streaming, because the video is sent trough a network or the internet.
But if you use video chat to send video to others, then you can still watch movies on youtube, because your video is being sent (uploaded) and the movies you watch are received (downloaded). And they don't interfere with each other. |
