video converter

I need a freeware program that allows to convert most formats to the iPod format (.mp4 I think), I've googled quite a bit and have only found a few, of which Movavi 6 seemed to be the best, but I have to pay for it, so I'd like to know if you know of a freeware that will do that.

If the files you want to convert aren't too large, you can do it online @ Media-convert.com

Actually I'm converting large files, like 700MB+... I tried it, but it says it's too big.

Try SUPER it's a complete pain in the ass to download, but converts almost anything to anything with lots of options.
