Thread: Virtumonde

Well, my game server is infested with virtumonde. So far halfway thru spybot, I have 2 entries of virtumonde.prs, 18 entries of virtumonde and 5 entries of virtumonde.dll. I know what it is and how it works, but I don't know an effective way to remove it without reinstalling windows (which is not an option) What do I do to remove this?

I haven't let spybot do its deal yet... I know a lot of things it can't remove that well. Anyone have success with spybot removing this?

spybot can do pretty well, use it to delete the virus, restart computer, then use spybot again to see if it detects it again.
