Post Vista graphics drivers to be more stable than XP drivers, ATI says

Graphics drivers developed for Vista, Microsoft's next generation operating system, will be far more stable than their Windows XP-based counterparts, and not crash the operating system anymore, an executive of graphics chip developer ATI told Tom's Hardware Guide.

Well cheers for that, I've had on helluva time getting my drivers to behave properly. N00bish question: Vista is the same thing as Longhorn right?

Yeah Longhorn was the code name and the release name will be Vista.
