Quite recently, two new files have appeared in my C:\ directory.
filein.cns fileout.cns It seems that when ever I delete these files (SHIFT+DEL), the regenerate themselves on reboot. I am very strict when it comes to my computer's security, and I would like to know what these files are, what they do, and if neccesary, how do I remove them? Thanks to all in advance. |

Well, first check this link out as it explains the file extension...
Further google-ing suggests that these files are not malware. If you haven't already, you could always do some malware scans to be sure. I would suggest something like Trend Micro for the virus scan, and adaware and spybot for spyware. |
