Post What is your favorite Film

Hello everyone

I thought i would start a thread to get some idea of what kind of films people like in this forum. Don't know why its just random thought i would see what response i get.

The kind of films i like are mainly gangster movies such as Godfather but my favorite film has got to be Goodfellas that is one hell of a movie brilliant actors in it and some great scenes with great quotes.

So what is your favorite Film?

I like all sorts but I guess my favourite films have been comedies for the last few years. For ages I would have said "Kingpin" (...we don't have a cow...we have a bull lol ) but its since been overtaken by "O Brother, Where Art Thou?". Any film that funny, with music that good will get my vote every single time, which is even more incredible seeing as George Clooney is in it!

I tend to like a lot of Mel Brooks and Monty Python stuff.

Outside of that, my collection consists of some action movies, but at this point it's largely anime.

Mine's probably between 'Platoon' and 'Pulp fiction' - hard to pick one over the other. Watched 'No Country For Old Men' the other day - and that was outstanding!

Hard to pick just 1 film, but if i base it on the film that ive seen the most times then there is one clear contender.

Donnie Darko

At some point before i die in say 50 years, i hope to have grasped and fully understood the whole film.

seen it about 40ish times........and counting.

Matrix (part 1) is one of those classic films that I think will still stand up in 20 years or so, dare I say it could be Star Wars-esk

As for Scarface, well I kinda see it once a year on the streets in the place where I live. For some reason young Spanish guys seem to insist on dressing like gangsters from the seventies but for me Carlito's Way was a little more engaging.

Never heard of it!!!! you should be beaten and then hacked to death with a butter knife for your crimes.

You can currenly buy it in woolworths for the obscenely cheap price of £1.17.

So no excuses, get out and buy it.
