Default Who's into swing?

I really like swing music from the 60s by Frankie, Dean etc.

Songs like 'Smile', 'Clementine', 'Let there be Love' are very good, as well as 'Mack the Knife', 'Aint that a kick in the head' and many others.

Just felt like a swing mood....

Any of you into the swing style? I think its the backing music arrangements (you rarely hear good strings and piano in the backing music these days) and suave style that does it for me.

Check out Joe Jackson's album 'Jumping Jive'.

It is a really well made album (as per usual) celebrating swing, big bands etc.

I absolutely LOVE IT!

Not really into swing, but in a similar vein, you might check out Big Bad Voodoo Daddy and the Brian Setzer Orchestra.

Brian Setzer rocks the Casbah. But even better, check out a SoCal local, Royal Crown Revue.
