Default Will any AGP card work with any AGP slotted motherboard??

I have a REALLY bad graphics card, and having just seen some cheap but better cards on Ebay, have decided to upgrade. My question is do I have to get a specific card or range of cards that will work with my motherboard, or will any AGP card work with any board that has an AGP slot?

Basically im too lazy to open the case and have a look at the details Please help

Most cards should work fine if your computer is not too old, but telling us what type of mainboard / what type of computer / what type of videocard you have installed now would help us some more.

You don't have to answer all 3 though, just one will be enough and someone can help you further.

If you don't know for a fact that you have an AGP slot, then you NEED to look or at least know what motherboard you have.

Okay, you should be able to use pretty much anything out there in AGP format, because that card is AGP 8x (not that it really makes use of those speeds).
