My Computer

Default will this build run ok with win xp ??

Hi all,this is my first build so im hoping for the best,im going to stick with win xp because of all the problems still with vista just wondering if xp will work ok with what i have.thanks
System Configuration :

Absolutely it will.
Also a wiser choice since you'll be having 2 GBs of RAM. Vista requires to much of it.

hey thanks for the reply.i have another problem now pc wizard is saying my MB is running at 127 deg c this seems crazy wouldnt it fry if it was that hot? just wondering if anybody has seen this before ?

That's crazy high i think your PC would shutdown with a temperature like that. Install SpeedFan and check if it gives you the same temperature readings. It seems that PCW is giving you straight out wrong readings

I would suggest opening your case and touching your ram, if you can hold your hand on it withhout it burning the hell out of you, you should just ignore the bad temperature sensor.

yep false reading speedfan is showing 127-c also but everything inside this computer is chillin
