I restarted my computer with the XP CD so I could delete my current partition and start a new one ( basically reformatting). When I sat there at the loading BIOS etc. the Windows XP boot menu, where you install a new windows partition and you have to hit ENTER to startup, wouldn't open. How can I get around this so I can reinstall my windows? Any suggestion on how to get that menu to pop up?
Possible Factors: My DVD drive fryed so I used my old 2002 PC's DVD drive. -If that really makes a difference. |

The above sounds confusing! Not quite sure where you are having problems.
Sounds like your getting to partition create/select screen and getting stuck?
