Hey everyone, is there anyway I can move some songs from Windows media player to iTunes? Do I just convert them to mp3 (where do I do that?) and then move them. Let me know if/how, thanks, much appreciated.

To convert them to mp3, you first have to change your "Importing" settings in preferences, to MP3. Then right click all the songs you want to convert and it will say "Convert Selection to MP3", as opposed to AAC or whatever was there before.

If you go "File>>Add File To Library", and then go to the *wmas, it should come up with a message saying "Do you want iTunes to convert the selection to WMA?".

if you like your music I would suggest making a seperate partition for it under windows. That way when your windows poops all over your face you just reinstall it along with your other programs and you've still got your music stored neatly
