Hey all,
I'm currently having trouble getting my Dlink DWL-G122 to work properly. Some weeks ago I was wandering on the internet, when all of the sudden I completely lost the connection and couldn't reestablish it. I have to try 20 times until it restores the connection (sometimes I don't even get it back!), I have to plug it in and out all the time. It's really annoying, because most of the time a Windows pop-up appears warning me that "the USB device could not be recognized" when it was working just fine! When it's able to recognize it, I can't enable back the connection, it will say "Connection failed!" and out of the blue the wireless connection won't appear on the Network panel icon. I know that it's not a Windows issue because I tried it on Linux and it can't connect either, so I tried it on a laptot right next to the router (It's a DI-524 by the way) and it gives me the same crap! So... my hypothesis is that the USB adapter is screwed. Any ideas? Thanks in advance guys! |

Ok, I guess no one has anything to say.
I will buy a new USB adapter and a new router, because the DI-524 has a shitty range. In that case, can anyone recommend a good router and USB adapter? Are the Topcom routers any good? |
