I'd guess around £300 to £400 at launch.

Confirmations!

My store will be selling Xbox 360's on the 2nd of December. You can choose one of two bundles. You can buy the console on it's own for £210 or you can get the console with £140 worth of extras that you will need for £280. We are taking preorders but can't guarantee you getting them at this point.

Should be the same for Game stores across England.

For us citizens who don't already know the standard console and wired controller bundle (without a hard drive) will be $300. The premium bundle with lots of goodies including a wireless controller, a 20gig hard drive, and a head set for example will be $400. Not a bad deal over the origional (you'll also need the storage for full backwards compatability and saving files and music.
