making a card reader drive A:

    hi this is rather a diff. task

    im wanting to make my current E: drive (smart media card) drive A: so a certain program will transfur system files onto it.

    Any suggestions much apreciated

    Under Windows 2000 and XP, go to Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management. Now go down to Disk Management (expand Storage if needed). Next, right-click on the drive you want to change to bring up a menu. One of the options should be to change the drive letter or path. If you have a floppy drive installed, you will need to change that drive's letter first as you can't change one drive's letter to another that's in use.
