Recently built a new machine, and I noticed that when I press the reset button and hold it not only does the machine restart but the CPU and Graphics card fans turn on and spin at high spin till I let go. Im just curous on why it does this. Its a Crosshair motherboard and 7950GT card (both ASUS). I have heard that come PSUs can keep the fans spining for like 30 secs to cool parts down after shutdown.

The reset button is suppose to be pushed once, and not hold down..
This will probable cause it to do this. That is not a good idea to try this again.
This will cause the power supply to malfunction..

Actually there are PSU's that do do that, it think a certain company calls it afterburner, or something, but you can set the reset button to be hold down instead of pressed in the BIOS.
