    Hi All,

I am looking for help with my Mesh PC.

I am experiecing really slow performance with the PC, I have tried everything I know, including clean up, de-frags etc.

Also both web browsers which I use, internet explorer and mozilla are continually crashing and throwing me out, saying that an error has occured, and then brings up the message about sending an error report.

I am run virus checks on the pc and all has been cleaned up.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions!!

    thanks

    A Frustrated user!!

There's another thread currently running that may provide some assistance, try here.

It may be an idea to tell us exactly what you've done to try to remedy the problems instead of us wasting time on suggestions that you've long since tried :)

There's no way your hdd is "c drive is 385mb used, 864mb available." using Windows XP... Do you know anyone that knows a bit more about computers that can help you at least post here? Either way you are going to want to use a spyware scanner and do a full system scan for spyware and viruses. If that doesn't work you can always copy ur needed folders, format, and start over. :)

    Is your system patched up?
    Are you running a firewall?
I guess you're running FIrefox when you say Mozilla. What version?
Have you run any spyware programs?
Has the slowdown been sudden or has it happened over time?

how do you mean is my system patched up?

Yes I have a firewall running through my anti virus Bullguard.
Yeah I am using Firefox, am using the latest version.
Spyware is also included within Bullguard.
Have had the PC for a couple of years, but the slow down has been over the last couple of months.

Security patches from Microsoft. You should keep up to date to avoid problems with virus's.

Also try downloading Spybot and Adaware. They're free and will allow you to scan for any more little nasties. Are your virus definitions up to date, I mean do you update your virus software regularly?

Do you get these problems with any other applications or is it just with the browsers?

    You mean version 2.0.0.8

Downloading AutoPatcher XP 2007 August Core release might help you. And it's easier way to keep your Windows safer and up-to-date. This release contains the most needed critical, security and other needed updates. No need to download them from Microsoft website.

Also, you might want to cleanup your pc. For this you should download System Mechanic - this software will help you to clean unused trash/clean and optimize your registry/ defragment hdd and more.

P.S. I would take a look at another security solutions. I won't say which one exactly, because many would start start discussion: 'Kaspersky rox, Nod32 sux ' :)

    good luck

EDIT: Eusing Free Registry Cleaner: Safely scan and repair registry problems - Spyware FREE. Eusing Free registry cleaner

(will boost up your pc performance)

    Free Wise Disk Cleaner download

    Junk files cleaner
