I’m looking forward to the release, enjoyed the first one plenty! Hopefully the loads times have improved, wondering why it has to be limited demo release. Three Speech has just heard that a demo of hotly anticipated off-road racer, MotorStorm Pacific Rift (as if we need to explain what MSPR is to you guys…) [...][IMG]

My only problem with pacific rift are some real dumb gameplay moves. For example, why would they make it so you HAVE to go into water to cool your vehicle down?? honestly, that wouldn't even work unless you immersed your vehicle, like up to the doors for an extended period.... I kinda lost interest in the series as soon as they COMPLETELY lied about almost all of the things they said were going to be in the gameplay when Motorstorm was being created.

I don't think it was that bad, it was just the loading times and poor online gameplay.

no yeah, it was pretty good, but i didn't buy it, and why??? why would they not include splitscreen multiplayer?? In this day and age, how do you leave out a gameplay feature like offline multiplayer, when the game is pretty much all about it? I dunno, i've most definitely changed my views of game over the years, and i'm just not going to support firms who leave simple things out of games for who knows what reason. I'm not dumping on you, its a decent game in my opinion, but i just wouldn't buy it. I'll play the demo and see how integral this "water" feature is, and if see if they've added some splitscreen, but i'm not getting my hopes up.
